Bloody Elbow is a news website that covers the sports of mixed martial arts (MMA), boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and other traditional martial arts and combat sports.

Previously owned by Vox, Bloody Elbow went independent in April 2023 and needed to build their website on a new platform to continue their operations. They assembled a team of 6 developers to tend to the various parts of the site.

As part of the team of developers, we helped them to develop a custom theme for their WordPress backend to meet the needs of their editorial team, as well as integrate their frontend designs with the backend of the WordPress system.
